Our method of planning and completing any work product is a highly-detailed yet flexible adaptation of the Agile development methodology. Work is planned in two-week sprints and relies on brief, productive workshops to remove barriers and keep both LT and Yaamava’ informed and aligned at all times.
Your experience throughout this process will include full visibility into project status at any point, while maximizing the efficiency of your time with regular workshops to plan weeks ahead, review work and share feedback and insights.
This allows for proactive planning and rapid feedback loops rather than long review periods consisting of large batches of deliverables. Chris Johnson
Chris leads corporate strategy in building an agency and related companies that best help our clients gain a competitive advantage by delivering exceptional customer experiences. He offers a wealth of insight and strategic knowledge to our clients and project staff, allowing us to offer innovative and competitive expertise for brands of all sizes. He has more than 25 years of experience providing strategic digital marketing guidance and has helped develop strategies for top global brands, such as Red Bull, Time Warner Cable, Honeywell, Apple, BMW, and Microsoft.

Beau has spent the past several decades growing our agency into one of the largest and most successful agencies in the region and in more recent years, helped oversee the merger of E.B. Andy Parnell

Andy is responsible for leading the day-to-day operations of the agency. Previous to his role as President, Andy served as Chief Client Officer for seven years where he was responsible for business development, client satisfaction, marketing, and overall top-line revenue for the agency. A long-time agency veteran, Andy has experience across many business categories and has helped lead partnerships with brands such as Konami Gaming, Red Bull, Cisco, Yaamava’ Resort & Casino, International Game Technology and many more. He was also instrumental in implementing NPS at the agency as a means to monitor client satisfaction. After more than six years of utilizing that feedback to improve agency services, LT consistently scores above 60, which is considered world-class in the agency category.
Alison Schmitt
Alison oversees the Account Service and Public Relations teams at LT. Jody has 37 years of advertising, marketing, and broadcast experience, encompassing project management, creative strategizing, production supervision, media, sales, and research. Ian Barry
Ian started his advertising career at the age of 8 when he sent an ad concept to Pepsi-Cola. His idea was politely rejected, but they sent him a pen and pencil set along with a note stating that “someday a creative boy like you will be in the advertising business.” That prophecy came true, as Ian has worked in the industry for over 25 years at agencies in Atlanta, New York, Denver and Richmond before joining LaneTerralever. He oversees the Creative and Content teams at LT with entertainment and attractions experience including Arizona Science Center, Bahamas Ministry of Tourism, Blue Man Group, Desert Botanical Garden, MGM Grand, Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau, Palms Casino Resort, Yaamava’ Resort & Casino, the Phoenix Zoo and The STRAT. Ian’s work has won several national and international awards and he was named Creative Director of the Year at the 2015 Phoenix ADDY Awards.
Lauren Hillery
Head of Gaming Research
Lauren is a creative strategist by nature and by trade and is genuinely passionate about digging into business nuances to uncover the most actionable insights that set brands up for opportunity and success. Lauren brings over a decade of experience working with some of the most recognizable brands, including PetSmart, Massage Envy, the Stratosphere, and Toyota, to develop brand strategy and insight-driven go-to-market plans that help move organizations forward in recognizable and ownable ways. She provides a unique bridge between brand development and creative, content, and digital strategy. She also leads our primary research initiatives in categories Casino Gaming, Higher Education and Healthcare.
Sharon Knecht
As Creative Services Manager, Sharon’s main responsibility is to produce all printed materials including brochures, magazines, direct mail, shared mail, signage, promotional items, vehicle wraps and OOH from concept through delivery, including scheduling and estimating all projects. With over 30 years of experience in print production, Sharon has built long-lasting vendor relationships. Furthermore, Sharon manages the stock photography, iconography and font purchases for all clients. Most importantly, Sharon collaborates with team members and vendors to be sure projects are produced on time and within budget, and meet the team/client standards. Sharon’s client roster includes brands such as HonorHealth, Yaamava’ Resort & Casino, Golden Entertainment, The STRAT, The Palms, Phoenix Children’s Hospital, Valleywise Health, Phoenix Zoo, Valley Toyota Dealers, and many more.
Gary Serviss
An agency veteran of 20+ years, Gary has served a variety of prominent brands in the Southwestern, Pacific and Rocky Mountain regions of the country. After spending 5 years leading in-house teams for Tuft & Needle, Serta Simmons Bedding and Keap, he’s proud to return to the LaneTerralever team. He’s also created work for a variety of gaming and entertainment companies, including the Arizona Lottery, Golden Entertainment, Desert Diamond Casinos, Cliff Castle Casino Hotel and Cocopah Casino & Resort.

Since relocating from Memphis to Phoenix in the mid 90s, Greg has cultivated a reputation for his diverse talent and outstanding body of work. Winning “Art Director of the Year,” and a slew of awards on such accounts as MGM Grand, Crystal Springs Bottled Water, Zicam, Toyota, and Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Since joining the LaneTerralever team, Greg has been an integral part of the success of many accounts such as Palms Casino Resort, Rentyl Resorts, Valley Toyota Dealers, and many more.
Shannon Cross
Shannon Cross brings 40+ years of experience in print, typography and layout expertise to the LT Team. She assists our creative geniuses in final execution of collateral for various environments spanning everything from social media to bus wraps to print ads and annual reports. She has worked with clients such as The Valley Toyota Dealers, Phoenix Zoo, Acteev, Palms Casino Resort, Yaamava’ Resort & Casino and many more.
Jason Thiel
Jason studied graphic design and advertising at the University of Minnesota, and worked in Minneapolis for several years before heading south in search of warmth. After a stop in Hilton Head/Savannah, he moved to the Phoenix area. Jason has worked in a mix of agency and inhouse creative roles for brands such as Chase, Coca Cola, UnitedHealth Group and Gulfstream. Since joining the LaneTerralever team, Jason has been an integral part of the success of many accounts such as St. Vincent de Paul, Arizona Department of Economic Security, Phoenix Zoo, Cocopah Casino Resort, Prisma and many more.
Ryan Proctor
Ryan is passionate about creating impactful modern brands through his art direction and constantly evolving design. Ryan has art director experience from clients all over the world. His portfolio includes, Yaamava' Resort & Casino, Western Alliance Bank, Tucson Airport Authority, Peter Piper Pizza, and Paddy O' Furniture. Ryan strives to ensure that each brand conveys a consistent brand message through uniquely creative campaigns and design.

Caleb is a professional videographer and video editing specialist. Caleb is a firm believer that any subject matter can be transformed into something beautiful. Caleb has been shooting a wide range of content for over eight years. He is extremely passionate about everything that he creates. Since working at LaneTerralever, he has had the pleasure of shooting and editing video projects for the McCain Institute, the Arizona Department of Child Safety, St. Vincent de Paul, HonorHealth Foundation, The Phoenix Zoo and many more.
Fraser Elliott
Fraser has been developing and executing creative and strategic consumer engagement plans for over 20 years. He’s led teams that have propelled business across many diverse categories from automotive to travel and tourism and for clients like MGM Grand, Phoenix Suns & Mercury, Paramount Themeparks, Sonic Drive-Ins, Zicam Cold Remedy, and Valley Toyota Dealers. In Fraser’s view, “media” doesn’t capture all the continually evolving ways of engaging with consumers. He enjoys developing results-driven solutions that cross the boundaries of paid, earned, owned, and shared channels.
Ryan Jacobsen
Ryan Jacobsen leads our Growth Marketing department encompassing all SEO, Digital Media, and Data Analytics efforts. With eight years of both local and enterprise marketing experience, Ryan has worked with clients such as The American Heart Association, Southwest Human Development, The McCain Institute, Yaamava’ Resort & Casino, The Palms and The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens among many others. He pursues holistic growth marketing strategies that aim to accelerate digital performance according to industry best practices while researching and testing new initiatives to ensure clients stay in front of the curve.
Hannah Tooker
Hannah is a writer, strategist, and creative thinker passionate about bringing brand stories to life. Hannah has been overseeing our Content Marketing team for the last five years. A self-proclaimed attractions junkie, she is passionate about the industry and where it is headed and has been proud to speak at events in the attractions space covering topics like Digital Guest Experience and Connecting with Gen-Z Consumers. With over a decade of content marketing experience working on brands like Arizona Boardwalk (home of OdySea Aquarium & Butterfly Wonderland), the Phoenix Zoo, Living Desert Zoo & Gardens, The Joint Chiropractic, Peter Piper Pizza, Palms Casino Resort and TruGreen Lawn Care, her diverse skill set translates into creative content strategy executions for our clients. Together with her team, Hannah helps bring life to the stories our clients need to tell and ensure they reach their intended audiences.
Kim Johnson
With over two decades of experience in financial management, Kim holds the reins for all of our agency’s financial decisions. She has extensive experience in finance, and as the SVP of Finance and Chief Operations Officer, she handles all day-to-day business needs. She has worked with clients such as Cocopah Casino & Resort, Golden Entertainment, The STRAT and Yaamava’ Resort & Casino.
Dianna Calandra
Dianna has been with LaneTerralever for 20+ years, working with clients such as MGM Grand, Cocopah Casino & Resort, Desert Diamond Casino, Seminole Casino, Pala Casino, Horseshoe Casino and San Manuel Casino to essentially ensure that each client is billed correctly. She manages accounts payable, accounts receivable, client budgets, media billing, financial reporting and forecasting. Her main goal is to provide financial transparency and accuracy to every client in order to generate success for all parties involved.
Logan McOien
Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Chair
In addition to his role as an Account Manager for accounts such as Four Peaks, Northern Arizona University and Drees Homes, Logan has taken on the role as LT’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) chairman. This position is highly respected at the agency and has become an integral part in how we operate internally and produce work for our clients. His responsibilities include educating and activating the agency and our marketing community as well as providing resources for our clients to create experiences that align with accessibility and equity within their brands.
